Cheese Rolls

The secret to the best cheese rolls? A sachet of onion soup and Greek Style yogurt! Delicious on their own or served alongside your favourite soup.



  • 1.4oz sachet onion soup mix
  • ¾ cups (175ml) of milk
  • 125g cheddar cheese, grated
  • 2 Tbsp parmesan cheese, grated
  • ⅓ cup (80ml) EasiYo Greek Style Plain 2% Yogurt
  • Black pepper
  • 12-14 slices of white toast bread
  • 4 Tbsp butter, melted


  1. To make the cheese roll filling, whisk together the onion soup & milk in a saucepan.
  2. Heat gently, constantly stirring until thickened & boiling.
  3. Stir in the cheddar cheese and parmesan cheese and season. Set aside to cool
  4. When cool, stir in the yogurt.
  5. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  6. Trim the side crusts off the bread
  7. Spread 2 Tbsp of the filling mixture onto the bread and roll tightly. Repeat.
  8. Brush rolled bread with melted butter and place on a lined baking tray.
  9. Cook rolls for 10 minutes or until gold and crisp and just beginning to ooze out the end.
  10. Serve immediately on their own or alongside our creamy tomato and capsicum soup.
